Installation Guide (Windows)

This guide will help you install and configure MipMapEngine on Windows systems.

📋 System Requirements

Hardware Requirements

Component	Minimum Requirements	Recommended Configuration
CPU	Intel i5 or equivalent	Intel i7/i9 or AMD Ryzen 7/9
Memory	16 GB	32 GB or higher
Graphics Card	NVIDIA GTX 1050 Ti	NVIDIA RTX 3070 or higher (Gaussian Splatting requires Compute Capability ≥ 7.0)
Storage	500 GB available space	2 TB SSD

Supported Graphics Cards

MipMapEngine currently only supports NVIDIA graphics cards

• Graphics Card Architecture Requirements: Compute Capability ≥ 5.0 (Gaussian Splatting ≥ 7.0)
• VRAM Requirements: Graphics card VRAM ≥ 4GB

Driver Version Requirements

• Windows: NVIDIA driver ≥ 528.33
• Linux: NVIDIA driver ≥ 525.60.33

🪟 Windows Installation

Step 1: Check System Environment

# Check NVIDIA model and version
nvidia-smi

Step 2: Install Virbox Driver

1. Download Virbox User Tools: https://lm.virbox.com/tools.html
2. Run the installer and follow the wizard to complete installation

Note: Virbox is the encryption and authorization tool for the SDK and must be installed before use.

Step 3: Install SDK

Extract the SDK package. The directory structure is as follows:

After installation, the SDK directory structure is as follows:

│   ├── license_engine.exe           # License management, activate, bind, enumerate licenses

Step 4: Activate License

Activate by binding the license code online in the Virbox User Center software

• NVIDIA graphics driver has been updated to the required version
• SDK files have been correctly extracted
• License has been successfully activated
